Course:
The 5 Mile Run and Walk starts on Wilbur Ave. and State Street right next to the Foot Traffic in Lake Oswego. The scenic course takes you through George Rogers Park, down the Willamette River-bordered Old River Rd. and around Cedar Oaks School before heading back into the Park for a scenic finish. Benefits:
This unique event supports local schools by donating $10 from every entry fee to the school of the participant's choice. The more participants for your school, the more money raised. It's a built-in fundraiser. Let us do the work, you just join your friends and family and run or walk!

In addition, the event provides prize money for both the "biggest" and "fastest" schools. Any walking or running participant (not just students) can write in the school of their choice on their entry form and contribute to their school's cause. The schools with the biggest turnout will win the following prize money:

1st place: $200
The "fastest" school (based on finish of top four runners) will win the following prize money:
1st place men: $100
1st place women: $100

Again, this event is NOT just for high school students. Parents, community members, walkers, joggers, visitors, etc... can write in the school of their choice on the appropriate spot on the entry form and contribute to their local school in both the "biggest" and "fastest" team competitions.
