HEA Scholarship Race for Education Online Registration

Whether you're a seasoned runner, new to the sport, or just want get out and walk, this is the event for you. Come out and test your early season fitness on our 5k course through the streets of Landisville around Hempfield High School. The course is flat, fast, and sure to produce some personal best times.

The Hempfield Education Association (HEA) along with The Hempfield School District is sponsoring this great event with 100 percent of the proceeds going towards the HEA Scholarship Fund. Each year the fund gives in excess of $15,00 in scholarships to Hempfield High School seniors to use towards their secondary education. We haven't forgotten our younger runners either. Bring your children along to participate in the Kids' Fun Run.

5 K Run

Description - 5 k road course
Start Time: 1PM
Fee - $12 (no t-shirt) or $18 (with t-shirt)
Mail in registration must be postmarked by Thursday, March 18th.
Awards - Overall Male/Female, additional awards for all age groups based on number of participants.
Age Groups: Male & Female - 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and over.

Kids Fun Run :

Description - Takes place at the Hempfield High School track near the start of the 5k run/walk.
Start Time: First race starts at 12:10 PM
Distance
1/4 mile (ages 5 and under, 6-8)
1/2 mile (ages 9-11)
Fee - 3$ (no t-shirt) or $8 (with t-shirt)
Awards - ribbons for all finishers

From Rt 283 take the PA 722/Landisville exit. Follow sign towards Landisville. Make a right at the light on Yellow Goose Road, then make a right on Harrisburg Pike/Main St. Go about .6 mile and turn left on Church St. Go to the next light and turn right on Kauffman and make your next left on Mumma Dr. Follow signs for parking.
