Welcome to the 3rd annual House of Hope Hunger Run 5k Run/Walk! This course is great for those who enjoy a little bit of a challenge! The race is capped at 300 participants so don’t wait to register. We intend to provide a challenging course, great support, and a fun race environment.

Shirts are limited to those who are signed up by October 8, 2017, so sign up early!
RACE CANCELLATION: • No refunds

CHECK OUT DNF, DROP, QUIT, LEAVE EARLY, MISSED CUTOFF: All runners who do not finish the race must turn in their timing chip to the finish line timer. Race officials need to know that you are not on the course.

Bib/Chip TIMING: This is a chip-timed race. What this means is that we use timing chips to collect your  finish time. Please have your chip on the front of your body, and the chip is sensitive to angle and proximity with the timing mat.

Race time for the Adult 5K is 9:00 am.

AWARDS: There will be awards for top three overall male and female and top three masters (over 40) male and female.

TIMELINE:

August 20 – registration opens; $25.00/runner / $10 kids run

October 8– cutoff to guarantee race shirt 

October 20 - online registration closes at 12 noon

October 21 – Pick-up at Hussey School, Berwick, Maine

TRANSFERS: You cannot give or sell your race bib to another runner without prior notification.

PACKET PICK-UP: Is Saturday morning at the race. Please don't forget the people working packet pickup are volunteers.

RACE SHIRTS: All shirts are pre-stuffed into your packets. Shirts will only be available until October 10th. If you register after October 10, 2017, shirts will not be available. The shirt size ordered on the webpage, will be the shirt you receive and cannot swap your shirt with a different size at packet pickup.

DOGS/STROLLERS: Not allowed, unless your dog is a service animal.

POST RACE PARTY: We will have food, drink, music, and the awards ceremony after the race. Please enjoy old and maybe new friends. We thank you for your support for the House of Hope Mission and want to share the good things happening at the House of Hope.
