Introducing the McCusker Mile
New this year, we are introducing The McCusker Mile to honor the race founder and long time race director Mike McCusker. We will have two extra timing mats with the 2nd one ending at the top of the "hill." In addition to your finishing split in the race results you'll also have a separate split for your McCusker Mile (ie. the hardest mile of the course). This isn't a separate race but a race within the race-start that uphill training!
Come Support the BSE PTO Spaghetti Dinner!
Friday, August 12th from 5pm-7pm at location: Buckland Shelburne Elementary School
100% of proceeds from the Spaghetti Dinner will go the Buckland Shelburne Elementary School PTO. $20.00 per family or $5.00 per person.
Post Race Awards Party
NEW in 2022, the post race awards party will be at the school grounds close to runner parking. A few more details on this and maybe some more fun surprises will be shared soon.
Other Changes of interest this year not already mentioned above:
- No split start. We will ask all racers. regardless of gender. to position themselves at the start line based on pace time to help improve the safety for all when the race begins
- No 2022 BOF Race T-shirt option this year. In order to re-boot the race this option had to be removed for 2022. We will re-assess in 2023 if we can bring back a race shirt.
- Plan for racers 20 and under to get voucher for free donated local ice cream, racers 21+ to get voucher for free donated adult beverage.
- Live music planned for post-race party
Refund Policy
We appreciate your planning to participate in the Bridge of Flowers Race. Because of the significant costs for putting on an event of this magnitude, and with the knowledge that our net proceeds are going to charity (Franklin County DIAL/SELF, Inc.) and future race costs, registration fees are non-refundable.
